This unique shopping adventure is located about one half-mile northeast of downtown Flint, near the main Post Office. One of the state’s largest and most complete markets featuring farm-fresh fruits and vegetables, potted and fresh-cut flowers, fresh baked goods, poultry, meat, cheese, local artists’ wares, consignment apparel and more. The Flint Farmers’ Market was built on the banks of the Flint River in 1940 and remains a true community gathering place. Their mission is To help rebuild our community defined by the common goals of sustainable use of our environment and a conscious awareness of what we eat.  They also seek “to provide the widest range of quality food and craft products at a fair price, and the warmest possible personal shopping experience for each and every one of Genesee County’s citizens and guests.”

Many of the vendors run family businesses that have operated at this same location since its inception. Visit the Flint Farmers’ Market online: www.flintfarmersmarket.com
